1. Citric acid or fresh lemon

3. Bring to a boil and leave for 15-20 minutes.

4. Pour out the solution, rinse the kettle with clean water, and boil it again with water without impurities.

An alternative is fresh lemon. Cut it into several pieces, throw it into the kettle, cover it with water, and follow the same procedure.

2. Vinegar

Vinegar is an excellent descaling agent but should be used with caution, especially in electric kettles.

1. Mix 100 ml of vinegar with 1 liter of water.

3. Let cool and leave for 15-20 minutes.

4. Pour out the liquid, rinse the kettle well, and boil clean water in it several times.

3. Baking soda

This method is suitable for those who do not want to use acids.

1. Pour 1 tablespoon of baking soda into the kettle.

2. Pour water to the maximum level and bring to a boil.

3. Leave for 30 minutes, then drain and rinse the kettle.

4. Sparkling water

An unusual but very effective method. Soda contains carbon dioxide, which dissolves scale well.

1. Pour any sparkling water without coloring or flavoring into the kettle.

2. Let it stand for 2-3 hours or bring it to a boil.

3. Pour out the water and rinse the kettle with clean water.

Prevention of scale formation

• Use filtered water.
• Do not leave water in the kettle for a long time.
