How to marinate mackerel deliciously for dinner and a festive table: a recipe for a tasty and healthy dish
Mackerel is an absolutely versatile fish that can be grilled, stewed with vegetables, or cooked on the grill.
It can also be deliciously salted in hot and cold marinade.
The cook shared a recipe for delicious pickled mackerel with onions and spices on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- Mackerel 1 pc.
Marinade:
- salt 2 tsp.
- sugar 1 tsp
- coriander seeds 1 tsp.
- black pepper 1 tsp.
- water 200 ml
- oil 1 tbsp
- vinegar 1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar 6%
- onion 1 pc
- bay leaf 2 pcs.
Method of preparation:
1. Marinade: pour all the spices into a saucepan, add the bay leaf, pour in water, oil, vinegar, and heat.
2. Cut the fish into pieces.
3. Put the onion sliced in rings on the bottom of the mold, fish on top, and pour the marinade over everything.
Ready fish can be eaten after 12 hours!
