Kate Middleton reprised the image of Princess Diana during a concert of Christmas carols. Photo comparison
Kate Middleton, who is gradually returning to royal duties after a course of chemotherapy, repeated the image of her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, while attending a Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey. The royal appeared at the event in a red midi coat.
The princess attracted the attention of others, as her bright color stood out from the rest of the attendees. At the same time, Lady Dee appeared in a very similar outfit in public, namely at the Birmingham airport, 40 years ago in 1984. This resemblance was noted in US Weekly.
The choice of colors was also similar between the princesses, and it was special not only because of the tone of the coat but also because of the black shoes. However, Princess Kate wore long boots, while Lady Dee wore low-heeled heels. Both royals also chose a large black bow for their looks. Interestingly, Princess Diana has always loved this accessory, and Kate Middleton has been wearing it since she told the world about her cancer treatment.
The wife of Prince William also complemented her look with drop earrings, and let her brown hair down in loose waves. Her mother-in-law once wore pearl earrings and a gold bracelet. The look was complemented by a red hat with a mesh.
For several years now, the Princess of Wales has been organizing a church service called “Together at Christmas” to give people the opportunity to reflect on love, compassion, and vital connections during the most difficult moments of life. The service was dedicated to those who have “shown love, kindness, and compassion to others in their communities” and “inspired, counseled, comforted, and emphasized how love unites and connects us all.”
Each guest received a letter from Kate Middleton, which read: “This carol is a heartfelt celebration for each of you and a reminder that at Christmas and throughout the year we should all shine for each other. Because in times of joy and sorrow, we are all a light to each other.”
