A knockout or full 12 rounds? Bookmakers have decided on the most likely outcome of Usyk-Fury rematch
The victory of Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) over Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) by judges’ decision is the most likely outcome of the upcoming rematch. After our compatriot defeated the Briton in May and became the absolute world heavyweight champion, the heavyweights will fight for the second time on December 21.
Bookmakers are already actively accepting bets on the most anticipated fight of the year, having identified Usyk as the favorite. The fact that in the first fight he almost knocked Fury out, whom the referee literally saved in the ninth one by stopping the round, speaks in favor of the Ukrainian.
Analysts have also decided on how exactly the fight will end. The odds of 2.50 are offered on Usyk being stronger on the judges’ scorecards. The early victory of the Ukrainian champion is estimated at 3.70.
At the same time, Fury’s triumph by knockout seems more likely than the British victory by points. The odds on Tyson’s early success reach 4.00. And bets on the Gypsy King being stronger on the judges’ scorecards are accepted at 4.50.
In the first fight, Oleksandr defeated Tyson by split decision – 114:113, 113:114, 115:112 – and became the absolute champion in the super-heavyweight division.
